Category: Barn Conversion Journal May 20th, 2008 by mbc

Im just about to embark on a conversion, (hopefully providing there is a lender out there who can assist a little in this climate!) Found this site so informative, look forward to picking out bits of info and contacts in the future. Would appreciate any suggestions!

Thanks Michelle, glad you find in useful.

My two main suggestions are 1) find a builder you feel you can trust and 2) think your design through prior to embarking on the project – what you realise is more important than time-scales. Think about what you want then plan to achieve that (not the other way around). Read the design patterns book that I link to in the header of this site.

    Good Luck!

(aside – I’d forgotten about these video updates, think I’ll make some more).
